RULE
BOOK DISCLAIMER
The
rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to
provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish
minimum
acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the
condition
of all events, and by participating in these events, all participating
in these
events, all participants are deemed to have compiled with these rules. NO
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS
OF OR
COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They
are intended as a
guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee
against injury
or death to a participant, spectator, or official.
The
race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate
deviation
from any of the specifications
herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not
alter the
minimum acceptable requirements. Any interpretation or deviation of
these rules
is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.
No
courtesy races will be given.
All competitors must comply with the rules in the division they
have entered or you will not be allowed to compete. No
exceptions.
DRIVERS
AND PIT CREWS PRIOR TO, OR DURING ANY RACING EVENT WILL NOT CONSUME ANY
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. NO ONE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL
WILL BE
ALLOWED AT THE RACEWAY. ANYONE CAUGHT DRIVING UNDER THE
INFLUENCE OR
BREAKING THIS RULE WILL BE EJECTED FOR THE SEASON AND THE AUTHORITIES
WILL BE
SUMMONED TO ENFORCE LEGAL ACTION. NO EXCEPTIONS.
RAIN
POLICY
We
all wish for blue sunny skies on race day, but if the
weather turns here’s what you need to do…..
In
the event that rain puts a halt to our racing program,
the race will be considered done if all the heat races are fully done. NO RAIN CHECKS WILL BE ISSUED
and the feature races will be run before the start of next weeks racing
program, with complete race program to follow. If the heat races are
not
completed, RAIN CHECKS WILL BE ISSUED,
and a complete program will be run the following week. ALL
RAIN CHECKS MUST BE USED WITH (2)
WEEKS FOLLOWING THE RAIN OUT. Rain Checks CANNOT be used on
Special Events.

SAFETY:
Helmets are
required and must be Snell SA95, SA2000 or SA2005. Helmet must be worn
at all
times car is on the track and must accompany vehicle at time of
inspection.
Roll bar padding required in driver compartment. Fire retardant padding
recommended. SFI approved fire suits of a flame retardant nature must
be worn
by all competitors. Fire retardant underwear, neck brace, socks, shoes
and
gloves mandatory. Full-size (minimum 16"x20") driver-side window net
required (no string-type nets). Window net to be mounted so latch is at
top
front of window. Five point safety belts, sub belt, shoulder harness
required.
The shoulder harness must be mounted securely to the roll cage. Belts
and
harness recommended not to be more than three years old. Aluminum high
back
seats only, must be bolted in. Kill switch required within easy reach
of
driver. Switch must be clearly marked 'OFF' and 'ON'.
American
cars:
(4)
or (6) cylinder front wheel drive & rear wheel drive
cars or station wagons. No (4) wheel drives. Class I or II by the
N.A.D.A. book
only, no modifications. No engines larger than (3.1) and engine must be
what
came with the car from the factory. No swapping a (4) cylinder or (2.8)
for a (3.8).
Foreign
cars:
Class
I only by N.A.D.A. book.
Body:
Complete
stock appearing. Must remove plastic body moldings.
No gutting or alterations to any sheet metal. Stock bumpers only. Must
have tow
chains on front and rear bumpers. Plastic bumpers may be replaced with
¼” wall
square or round tubing, welded to sub-frame, rounded on edges. No shock
absorbing bumpers will be allowed. Bumper ends may be connected to
fenders to
prevent hooking. Front upper and lower bracing on uni-body cars is
allowed, but
not mandatory. No spoiler or ground effects. Cars must be neat
appearing. Car
numbers on both doors and roof must be a minimum of (18) inches in
height.
In-cabin intake is not allowed. All intakes shall remain under hood of
car.
Must run stock air cleaner. No modifying of stock hoods. Hood scoops
are only
allowed if the hood came that way from the factory. Plastic nose clips
are
allowed, as long as it is a factory look. Rub Bars Allowed
Interiors:
Everything
removed except stock steering column. Dash may be
stock or in a tin replacement. Heater boxes can be removed. Aluminum
dirt track
racing seat required. Rear seat firewall tinned. No extra interior
tubing. No
extra interior spoiler. All holes in front firewall must be filled.
Doors
and Door Frame:
Front
and rear regulators, handles, door locks and armrests
must be removed. Inside panels of front doors only may be tinned. Doors
must be
securely on outside. Upper doorframes must be completely welded to roof
and
windshield posts. If interior door bars are used, the inside door panel
tins
must be removed to allow bars to be inside of doors.
Glass:
All
glass removed. No side mirrors allowed. No rear view
mirrors allowed.
Safety
Inspection:
Five
points safety belts, sub belts and shoulder harness
required. Window net required. Neck braces, fire suits shoes and gloves
required. Arm restraints are optional. Helmets must be Snell SA95 or
Snell
SA2000. No motorcycle helmets. No transmitting or listening devices
allowed in
the car.
Shocks
and Suspension:
Must
be completely stock. No modifications or racing parts
allowed.
Fuel:
Pump
gas only, no racing fuel. Fuel tanks may be in stock
location. Skidpans under fuel tank are optional. Fuel cells, mounted in
trunk
of car are allowed, but not mandatory. Carburetor or fuel injection
must be
stock. No alterations. Fuel shutoff switch is mandatory, mounted in
center of
dash, clearly visible to safety and rescue personnel. Track tech people
will
check the operation of this shutoff. Toggle switch is preferred.
Exhaust:
Must
reach front door and be suspended with a hanger
bracket.
Radiator:
Stock
and in stock location.
AC
Unit:
Freon
must be professionally removed. AC pump may be
removed.
Cruise
Control:
Pull
cable disconnected. All vacuum lines in stock hooked
position.
Wheels:
Factory
stock wheels - steel or aluminum. Must
have been option on that make & model.
Brakes:
Must
stop all (4) wheels. Rear brake light required and
working.
Tires:
Stock,
No shaving or grooving. Must stay within
(1) inch of original tire. All (4) wheels and tires must be the same
size.
32
lbs minimum air pressure in right side tires. Bead locks
allowed right side only!
Battery
:
Stock
Location or in trunk area behind tinned covered rear
fire wall. Must be securely fastened and must be encased.
Gas
Pedal:
Stock
location.
Windshield
Wipers:
Must
be removed.
Transmission:
Stock,
NO alterations. NO manuals in place of automatics or
automatics in place of manuals. Transmission coolers are optional. Must
use oil
resistant line with fittings, NOT
HOSE CLAMPS.
Headlight
and Taillights:
Must
be removed. Sheet mental may be added.
Grille:
Must
be removed. May be screened.
Computers:
No
alterations.
Inside
Support Bars:
(6)
Point required (.095). Location behind seat from top
of roof to floor behind driver and passenger with X brace against back
of seat.
Kick bars located from area of headrest to rear fender well. Front bars
not to
exceed past any point of roofline. Front down bars must be tied
together.
Safety screen with a minimum (3) bars each side securely attached, no
zip ties.
Pipe may be (14) gauge tubing 1 3/4” to 3” minimum, 2“ black pipe
(Black pipe
is recommended), or 1.66” tubing (.095) with no gussets. Steel plate on
base of
pipe fastened to floor. Roll over bar on driver’s side and (3) door
bars required
on both sides tied together by (4) vertical bars.
Decisions
of Wagner Speedway officials are binding
without exception!

If this has to be done an announcement will be made before any changes
